Will Smith Might Return For I Am Legend Follow Up

A sequel to 2007's I Am Legend is set up right now, and it looks like Will Smith is thinking about reprising his role!
A lot of speculation has come from whether or not it'll be a prequel or a sequel, but our guess is sequel.
Will's waiting on the script right now, which is being written by Arash Amel — who did The Expatriate.
Originally it was going to be a prequel, but that got shelved.
I Am Legend was based on Richard Matheson's 1954 novel of the same name, but totally didn't have much in common with it.
